Things you need to know about invisible braces

AISMILE™ Invisible Braces

AISMILE™ ALIGNERS are clear dental aligners that help to move your teeth to a desired alignment. They’re individually customised to each user and are made at our own factory that is fully powered by AI technology. Our patented and advanced invisible aligner manufacturing process has been independently researched, developed and continually refined. AISMILE™ ALIGNERS are made with a 3-layer structure that effectively addresses orthodontic strength and comfort. They are made from patented QEF (Quick & Easy Fit) & TPU material within our own China AI-driven Smart Factory. This is our ISO-certified and FDA-registered 3D printing facility where we produce a set of braces every six seconds.

5 Common Concerns

1. How long would my ASMILE™ ALIGNER Journey take?

The length of treatment varies from case to case, but a smile transformation at AISMILE™ ALIGNER takes an average of 3 - 10 months. Due to the more extensive nature of AISMILE™ ALIGNER +, treatment can take up to 24 months.

2. Are invisible braces less painful than metal braces

At the beginning of a new phase of treatment, most patients will have a slight toothache. This is normal and indicates that the aligner is working and placing your teeth in the expected position, which will gradually become more beautiful. This pain will gradually disappear after a few days of wearing the new appliance.

3. Will AISMILE™ Aligners cause speech impediments?

As with all orthodontic treatments, the appliance may temporarily affect your speech expression. You will have slightly slurred speech for a day or two, but as your tongue gradually adjusts to the appliance, the stuttering and slightly slurred speech caused by the appliance will disappear, so do not worry.

4. Can I see the the expected final result after the first appointment?

Once the 3D scan of the oral cavity is complete, we will create a 3D animation so you can see what your teeth will look like after treatment. If you are happy with the results, our AIDentist will create a full 3D correction plan for you to approve before we begin treatment.

5. What if I am not satisfied with the results after treatment?

Our goal at AISMILE™ is to make beautiful smiles accessible to everyone. We want to help you achieve a better smile. We offer additional sets of invisible braces at no additional cost. Plus, you can get a re-scan of your teeth and start a free treatment plan for 1 time.

Other General Questions

1. When will I start seeing results?

Most wearers start seeing a difference 2–3 months after beginning treatment.

2. Can I choose to treat only my upper teeth/lower teeth??

To obtain the proper bite, the upper and lower teeth must be considered as an integral part of the corrective plan. In some cases, correcting only a single set of teeth may cause your teeth to move back to their original position. In order to maintain the correct bite and have a healthy smile, it is important to correct the upper and lower jaws at the same time.

3. I’m under 18 years old. Am I suitable for the AISMILE™ Aligner treatment?

We don’t recommend our treatment for those under the age of 18 as your mouth is still developing at that stage.

4. How does AISMILE™ Aligners compare to other clear aligner brands?

World leader in artificial intelligence manufacturing, advises a group of 5,000 professional orthodontists on orthodontic plans and orthodontics. AISMILE™ APP provides services such as wear reminders, orthodontic progress tracking, AISMILE community, etc., and guides consumers to complete the orthodontic journey together.

Based on big data of more than 1.2 million cases, intelligent cloud computing works with dentists to jointly create targeted, customised and accurate correction plans and avoid manual discrepancies. The correction plan can be directly converted into a digital production plan, and the smart factory will perform micro-level production and delivery.

5. Do I need to extract my wisdom teeth before starting treatment?

In most cases, wisdom teeth do not need to be removed unless they are causing a problem. To find out if you need to have your wisdom teeth removed, take our FREE ASSESSMENT here. After we have reviewed your case, you will be invited to a first consultation where our AIDentist will examine your teeth and provide you with professional advice.
